The USDA Mortgage Program has been extended for 2010!
Finally some great news!
Secretary Tom Vilsack of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has authorized the release of Conditional Commitments for the USDA 502 Single Family Housing Program.
The rural mortgage program will immediately resume USDA lending until the $2.5 Billion loan limit has been exhausted.
The USDA Mortgage Group is proud to notify its clients in Washington and Oregon that we will begin processing UDSA home loan applications immediately.
This news comes just in time for the thousands of Americas still trying to secure the $8000 dollar tax credit. For those of you who may not have known, the rural housing program ran out of funds on May 10th of 2010 leaving thousands of Washington and Oregon rural homebuyers stranded and unable to purchase homes with zero money down. With USDA funds becoming available immediately many of these borrowers will close their purchase loans by June 30th 2010 and earn their $8000 tax credit.
